• Watch Nomi Prins on yesterday’s Democracy Now! talking about the history of Wall Street and Washington bromances.
• The Toledo Blade is filing a suit against the U.S. Department of Defense after two of its reporters were detained outside a DOD facility in Ohio. The reporters “parked on a public road in front of the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center and took photographs of the outside of the facility, according to the complaint,” according to the Reporters Committee for the Freedom of the Press. “They began to leave but were stopped by military police and detained for an hour, according to the complaint. Their equipment was confiscated, and their photos were deleted.” The paper claims that the reporters’ First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendment rights were violated.
