• How did we miss this important billionaire-news update? Forbes announced on Monday that it would be tracking and ranking “more than 1,600” billionaires, each and every trading day. “We will update the value of individuals’ public holdings every 5 minutes when respective markets are open (there will be a 15 minute delay for stock prices),” reads the announcement. “We will also be tracking the billionaires with the biggest gains and losses on a given day.” We’ve got Fantasy Football; how about a Fantasy Billionaires League?

• Anyone who remembers that part in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off when Ferris and Cameron run his father’s Ferrari’s odometer backwards to try to hide the fact that it’s been taken out for a joy ride will nod knowingly to this intrepid Long Island huckster who just plead guilty to “odometer tampering” charges. He rolled back the odometer in more than fifty used cars and trucks to sell them at a higher profit.

• Do you ever Google-image search something just to see what you’ll find? Behold, the fascinating world of “bespoke birdhouses.”
