• A new startup called Wevorce has raised 1.7 million “to make divorce fun,” reports The Verge. Christopher Mims calls it “Uber for divorce.” Yeah, sounds like a laugh riot.

• Chief justice Shirley Abrahamson‘s dissenting opinion of the voter ID law ruling in the Wisconsin Supreme Court includes the line, “Today the court follows not James Madison—for whom Wisconsin’s capital city is named—but rather Jim Crow.” (Via Andrew Cohen.)

• Today in Epiphanies: “It totally changes your perspective. Even the shopping experience–I make a shopping list when I go to the store usually. I think about what I need–what I want–and I put it in the cart. I truthfully rarely think about how much it costs,” representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) told ABC reporters of his experience taking the “Living Wage” challenge, joining former Ohio governor Ted Strickland and others in living on a minimum-wage-sized budget for a week. “I’ll walk down the aisle and I’ll see something–you know, that would be great and I throw it in the cart. There’s just none of that when you’re on that kind of budget. There’s no spontaneity whatsoever.”
